What We Got For Christmas! 2013 :)

As we promised we have a new blog for you today! We thought it would be fun to share with you some of the lovely presents we received for Christmas. We know that the holiday season is about so much more than gifts but we are so appreciative of everything we got and would just like to share it with you! We are not trying to brad or anything of the sort :) We are simply beauty and fashion bloggers and we want to show you some of the new products we received. So let's jump right in! So we are going to start off with the things Jessica received for Christmas! These are some of the Bath and Body Works products she got. We will do our best to leave you the links for most of the products so if you see something you may want to pick up or spend your Christmas money on you can do that more easily! (From left to right)

The Secret Wonderland products in the middle are all sold out online I'm afraid. But she received the shower gel and body butter.

(Jessica's boyfriend) Rob's mom got her the L'EAU D'ISSEY body lotion and shower cream.

This is something she had not heard of before and she is excited to try it!

This is a higher end product so it is a bit pricey. If you would like a review of this product once she uses it for a little bit leave a comment down below!

From our older sister Amy, Jessica got two Big Sexy Hair products and some neon hair clips. Jessica loves these BSH products and has used them before. She used an entire bottle recently and it was featured in our Empties of 2013 video.

These products can be found at any drugstore, really. One is a hair spray and one is a root booster!

These are a few little stocking stuffers. Two are Avon products, a nail polish and a lip gloss. The eye shadow is by Stila. Product names and better view of them in our video.

Her boyfriend's mom and sister also got her these adorable wine glasses. One is Zebra print and the other has shoes all over it. Jessica is a shoe hoarder so this is perfect for her.

This adorable bow belly button ring is from our little brother's girlfriend Kass. It is super pretty and girly!

She also got this fox necklace from our parents and this adorable giraffe ring that I got her from a boutique because she loves giraffes. She also got three other sets of jewelery that I bought her and those are included in our video.

Jessica also got the perfume she has been wanting! This is the Katy Perry Killer Queen perfume. This was from her boyfriend's mom and step dad and it is this wonderful little gift set. It came with a very pretty velvet tote, some body lotions, the full size and the small size of the perfume!

It smells soooo good!

These are a few of the clothing items she received from Rob's family. Some really cute PJ's from Victoria's Secret and this Breakfast club muscle tee!

This gift from Rob's sister is perfect for her because she loves this movie, it is one of her favorites!

Jessica also received some travel items for Christmas this year. She got this black and white carry on bag. It is so adorable and I have actually had my eye on one like this for a while.

She also got this Betsey Johnson makeup bag :)

Scarves are one of our favorite fashion items for any time of year! We each got three for Christmas! The ones she received are the ones to the left! The polka dot infinity scarf and also the red one are from our parents. The middle one that is black and white is from American Eagle. I got that for her because she needed more scarves in her life and that one is too cute.

Then because Kass had Jessica for our family gift exchange she bought her the LORAC Pro palette. Jessica has been wanting this for awhile and it just has the prettiest colors in it. It also came with the Behind the Scenes Eye Primer.

This adorable Guess watch is from Rob's mom. It is rose gold with two silver diamonds. It is absolutely beautiful and is one of the gifts Jessica is most excited about!

Let's move on to what I got shall we! So I got three different bags from my parents. This first one is a gray cross-body bag and I think it will be great for traveling.

My mom also got me a Coach wristlet. It is Navy Blue, Cream, and Bright orange. I love little purses like this one because they are very easy to take around with you when you don't want to lug around a big bag. This one is very unique and different for me because of the colors. I don't have anything with this color pattern. I can't wait to start using this!

The last bag that I got is this straw beach tote. I love this because the inside has a drawstring so if I use it at the beach I won't get sand in it! I hate getting sand all over my stuff. I can't wait to use this on spring break this year!

I just love this little bird picture that my sister Amy got me! It is so cute and I can't wait to hang it up! She also made me puppy chow, a hot chocolate mix, an ornament, and some really cute shirts! All of the clothing items I got will be shown in our video.

I got three Bath and Body Works products. These are my three absolute favorite scents. I have used all of these in the past so they were definitely on my Christmas list.

I'm so happy that Kass got me this adorable belly button ring! I love anchors as some of you know and I love this because it matches my tattoo. All of my rings have broken so this is something I was really needing! So thank you Kass!

Ahhh! So Jessica got me the Naked Palette by Urban Decay and my mom got me the Naked 3!

I have never owned any of the Naked Palettes but I have always wanted them! I am so happy! Thank you so so so so so much guys!

I got some random beauty products. Some from Sephora, Ulta, Avon, ect. These are things I have really been wanting and I talk more about these in our video! So check that out for more of an in-depth explanation!

I also received the Despicable Me 2 movie and the Ariana Grande CD! I love minions and this movie! I am also really excited to listen to this CD and jam out to it in my car!

My boyfriend's mom got me this set of ten OPI nail polishes. This is one of my favorite brands so I am excited to try these out! My mom also got me some nail polish. It is this set of six glitter nail polishes! <3

My parents got me this Michael Koors brown leather belt. This is a belt with great quality and I have really been needing a new belt so I am so happy I received this!

My mom got me the Katy Perry perfume called "Meow!" It smells so good! We show the packaging in the video because Jessica has this one too!

Chris's sister got me this Vera Bradley makeup purse. I have never owned anything from this brand and in the past I haven't really liked it all that much but I love this bag! The colors are so cute and it is definitely my style!

I got some gift cards this year. I got a VS gift card from my niece and sister. I also got a DSW gift card from Chris' parents :)

My One Year Anniversary! (DIY Gift Idea, New Hair, Exciting News, etc!)

On Monday, December 23, 2013 me and my boyfriend Christopher celebrated our first anniversary together :) So I thought it would be fun to share with you how we spent the day and give you some gift ideas in case you have an anniversary coming up!

We both had busy days with our families with it being the holidays. So we spent the night in and it was really nice.

This is Chris frosting the cookies we made. We were making cookies for my parents and his parents. This is what we spent the majority of the night doing. The cookies actually turned out pretty good and they tasted great! Like my Breaking Bad Cookie? BLUE METH CANDY CANE ;) I know. I'm way too obsessed.

Of course I had to make a minion cookie. We all know I love my minions!!! He is just too cute, I couldn't eat him!

We made reindeer cookies with Nilla Wafers, Red Hots, and Pretzels. This little guy is so cute.

Of course, I had to make an anniversary cookie. My family and nieces call me KiKi so Chris does too.

Before you start to think that I have a cute boyfriend who bakes with me.... take a look at his other creations.

My dad said "Don't you know it is Christmas?!"

My Grandma (not knowing what it was) said "It's cute!!"

He never fails to make me laugh.

I had a hard time finding something to get him for our anniversary! It was not easy thinking of something unique and thoughtful when I had already bought his Christmas presents. I decided to make him something to remind him of me while he is away at school (:

This is me working on the picture frame! I made him a frame that has song lyrics that remind me of him. It took me a few hours because I wanted to make sure I picked lyrics that were meaningful and songs that we both like and listen to together.

I used our favorite colors to write the lyrics on the border of the frame! :)

This is how it turned out! Some of the lyrics include

"Home is wherever I'm with you,"

"Love don't know what distance is."

"You are the other half, you're like a missing piece."

and may more!

I also got him a really cute Breaking Bad shirt with all of the characters because we watched the entire series together.

It was the last one left and it was in his size! I got it at Hot Topic but they are all sold out online now, so I couldn't leave you guys a link :(

I also got him a Breaking Bad car air freshener that says "Have an A1 day!"

I think the card shows that he knows me all too well.

But in case that wasn't enough he also made a minion out of

Legos. I love him.

He also got me this Rose Gold and Silver Promise Ring. It is an infinity sign or knot just like my tattoo :) It matches the bracelet he got me for our six month. I love it and I love him for getting it for me :) Thank you Christopher!

RANDOM

A lot of you know that this year we lost our Grandpa. With it being Christmas and it being our first without him we just wanted to share with you something we made to remember him. Our Grandpa loved birds so we got an ornament with one on it and wrote "Grandpa, Always in our Hearts."

We miss you Grandpa and we hope you had a wonderful first Christmas in Heaven. We love you<3

I finally masted the halo braid! Let us know if you would like a tutorial for this on our YouTube channel!

I got my hair done! It is now a dark brown color that initially looks black. No more ombre hair! I like it but I think I might do something different with it next time. Let me know what you guys think!

Our mom is an event planner and her ad is now in Bride magazine! Make sure you guys pick it up and take a look. She does beautiful weddings and other events! So all you Michiganders check it out!

OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL IS NOW AT 567 SUBSCRIBERS! We are a new channel that has only been up for two months but we have had so much amazing support. We would love to hit 600 subscribers by the end of the year. We will be doing our 500 subscriber giveaway once we reach 600 because you guys deserve another giveaway and we are so close we figured we will just wait a bit. We also have some really exciting news about a partnership we have been offered and we will let you know more about that once it is official!
